Led by Dr. Tina Ziainia in San Diego and Dr. Keon Pearson in San Francisco, the clinical leadership brings training from institutions including Stanford, Harvard, UCSF, Yale, Columbia, and the Cleveland Clinic. Chief Clinical Advisor Dr. David Karow is internationally recognized for innovation in MRI imaging and genomic analytics. President & Medical Director — San Diego
Dr. Ziainia is the President, Medical Director of San Diego, and Chief of Women's Health at Human Longevity. With over 25 years of clinical experience and awards including Top Doctors of San Diego and the Sharp Rees Stealy Physician Excellence Award, she brings her unique experience and expertise on hormone optimization to our team. Previously, Dr. Ziainia was an assistant professor at Saint Louis University and a physician at Sharp Rees Stealy before joining us to practice precision longevity medicine with an emphasis on a personal approach to healthcare.

Medical Director — San Francisco & Director, Executive Health
Dr. Keon Pearson, MD, MBA is a board-certified internal medicine physician specializing in preventive care and longevity medicine. A Harvard graduate with early research in aging and a dual MD/MBA from Stanford where he also completed internal medicine residency, Dr. Pearson combines clinical expertise with a data-driven approach to help patients prevent chronic disease before it starts. His interests in cardiology, lipidology, and kidney dysfunction are matched by a commitment to cutting-edge science and personalized care.

Longevity Clinician
Dr. Dinenberg, fellowship-trained in Integrative Medicine, has over 18 years of experience bringing mindfulness practices to healthcare settings. He completed his residency at UCSF and earned his MPH at UC Berkeley. Before joining HLI, he worked in private practice at Scripps Memorial and served as co-founder and CMO at a population health company. Additionally, he has written books on mindfulness and produced a popular meditation album.

Chief of Cardiology
Dr. Keen has over two decades of clinical and academic experience. Prior to HLI, Dr. Keen was the Assistant Medical Director and Chief of Echocardiography, Adult Congenital Heart Disease, and Internal Medicine at Kaiser Permanente. He maintains an academic appointment at UCSD as Clinical Professor of Medicine.

Longevity Clinician
Dr. O'Byrne graduated from Rutgers Medical School, completing her residency in Internal Medicine & Vascular Medicine and her fellowship at Cleveland Clinic and the Andrew Weil Center. Her clinical and teaching experience spans over 20 years at Cleveland Clinic, Scripps Clinic, UCSD Medical School and the Veterans Administration Health Center. Additionally, she serves as a medical consultant for the Medical Board of California.

Longevity Clinician
Madison Pachoe is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She received her BS in Biology from Georgetown University. After working for the CDC for two years, she went on to complete her Master's and Doctorate degree in Nursing at Columbia University with a subspecialty in women's health. She is passionate about the future democratization of preventative medicine and has provided healthcare services to homeless shelters across NYC.

Board certified with a clinical background in Cardiology and Internal Medicine, Abigail has a passion for disease prevention through optimization of all aspects of health and wellness. She considers multidimensional aspects of well-being to treat the whole person, with a goal to not only help you live longer but thrive longer. Abigail has been recognized with Scripps' "Honored Caregiver" award by her patients.

With over a decade of clinical experience, most notably in Internal Medicine at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines, Jessica is Board-Certified in Adult and Gerontology Primary Care with dual degrees as Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist. Her approach to precision medicine transcends pharmacologic therapy, encompassing holistic and lifestyle measures tailored to the individual.

Julia Appis is board certified with experience in internal medicine as well as family medicine. She is passionate about preventative medicine and lifestyle modification to achieve optimal health. As a strong proponent of diet and exercise, she enjoys discussing how these elements can fit realistically and practically into someone's life. Her individualized approach to medicine recognizes that each client has their own specific needs that must be addressed to achieve meaningful longevity.

Dr. Guyer is a Yale graduate, UCSF trained physician, and board-certified Internal Medicine physician with 25 years of clinical experience. She combines expertise in internal medicine with an integrative, holistic approach to treating a wide range of conditions. Warm, attentive, and clinically astute, she partners with patients to create preventive care plans, diagnose a complex array of diseases, and support goals to enhance overall well-being.

Chief Clinical Advisor
Dr. David Karow is internationally recognized as an innovative leader in MRI imaging and genomic analytics. He is a proponent of using data-driven precision medicine testing and AI to achieve extensions in the healthy human lifespan. He is the senior author and co-author of numerous publications focused on early detection of chronic age-related disease using imaging and genomic biomarkers. Dr. Karow graduated from medical school at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 2005 in a combined MD/PhD program with a distinction in research and completed residency and fellowship at UC San Diego and UC Los Angeles, respectively.
